They are low-profile transparent bases used to mark the exact footprint of your 3D scenery, so you can place your walls, ruins and other terrain elements on top while keeping the playable area clearly visible. Made from 0.5 mm flexible transparent plastic, these footprints give you a very low-profile solution that keeps the table clean and easy to play on. They help define terrain areas clearly without covering the design of your mat or getting in the way when moving miniatures. They are especially useful for competitive play, clubs and events, where clearly marked terrain boundaries help reduce confusion and make terrain, cover and area interactions easier to judge during the game. Peel only the border, spray it in the colour of your choice, and then peel the centre area afterwards. This gives you a clean painted outline while keeping the middle fully transparent. Remove all the protective film for a fully transparent finish, then paint the border yourself if you want it to match the style or colours of your gaming mat. This makes the set flexible both for competitive play, where visibility matters, and for more thematic tables where you may want a subtler or custom finish. The shapes and sizes have been designed to match the official terrain footprint templates as closely as possible. Please note that the official versions are made from cardboard, while these are produced in flexible transparent plastic, so small differences may exist due to material, production method or normal cutting tolerances.
