Saint James Infirm’ry Variations for clarinet solo

This is a solo clarinet version of the clarinet quartet which is also available on ScoreVivo. The Dixieland tune St James Infirm’ry Blues is a derivative of the ancient (probably 16th century) ballad “The Unfortunate Lad.” Here we have six classical variations based on the early 20th century theme which was made famous by Louis Armstrong.
