These fans are so pretty and very utilitarian. The traditional print patterns are lovely, and the design makes them so easy to take on the go. Being foldable to such a small and light size combined with the attached chain allows them to be dropped into a purse or pack or even attached to water bottles which have a loop or other attachment point.Being 16 per package, they are a really nice choice for giving as small gifts at any type of get together or even hanging on the door of a neighbor as a pleasant surprise on a hot day, as will be done with mine.As a child we attended church with my grandmother (who was born around 1880) and the buildings didn’t have air conditioning or electric fans, so she always carried small fans for her and our use. They needed to of course be silent/non-disruptive during use and easily transported. These remind me of those times so long ago…They aren’t intended to last for years, but they are well made and with reasonable care should each provide enjoyment for a good while. I really like these beautiful and utilitarian fans and recommend them!
