I am new to welding and teaching myself.I am learning with 7018 rods. I feel the price for the quality and quality is really good compared to the local welding shop prices for the same quantity. They perform well. If you are familiar with 7018 rods then you know the challenges of welding with them. But once you get the Arc started it’s a very nice performing rod.
