Dorman 926-881 Weld-In Bed Floor Rust Repair Panel Compatible with Select Ford Models (OE FIX)

I bought 2 of these panels here and a third from another source, and all 3 were delivered bent up. It seems no matter where you get them, expect they’ll need some fixing upon receipt. I used these to repair some rather significant rust in the bed of a 2006 F-250 and they fit well. They were the same gauge as OEM and the bends in the panel lined up with the bed. My biggest complaint however is that the paint they used on the panels is NOT weldable. As a result, in order to weld it you have to remove the paint in those areas which seems counter-productive. It would have been much easier and more effective if they had used weld-through primer.
