Mutazu White LN Universal Motorcycle Hard Bag Saddlebags with Mounting Brackets

I bought a set in white and a set in black to match our 2021 Kawasaki vulcan s. You can see the picture attached with and without. Neither my wife or I carry passengers so we wanted a bag that would flow with the rear fender, add critical storage space, not be big and bulky, and not require adding a luggage rack. I took a shot in the dark with these. The dimensions and shape looked right and I knew I could mount them invisibly. Ok into the details… The bags are nice solid abs, well painted, good locking mechanism with an extra key. Each sets locks were different which I was happy to see as they didn’t use one generic key. Surprisingly the light wiring was complete, long, and had terminals installed. They plugged right into my stock turn signal wiring. The bulb is not as bright as I personally like but if it bothers me its a simple swap. Instalation is easy enough, i put the bracket under the rear most fender/frame bolt and the other to the front. Simply use a piece of paper and a sharpie to make a template and drill your holes. You need a 1/2″ spade bit for this and the rubber grommet will fit perfectly. A tip is to use the edge of the paper to the top of both mounting brackets and relate that to the seam on the rear of the bags to drill your holes. You will be dead even and level with no extra fuss. The mounting bracket holes are threaded! You have a little play with the rubber grommets but make sure your template is pretty dead on. They are hex heads so make sure to have a 1/4″ ratchet and a hex socket to save you some knuckle busting with an allen wrench. Start each bolt by hand starting with the bottom two. Trust me here, start at the bottom and work your way up. They go on smooth. Don’t obertighten them, make sure the rubber has a little flex so the bags dont get effected by vibration. The bags should vibrate very slightly at idle. Then just add a bit of loctite to the rear bolt, crank them down and your ready to roll. We’ve put about 500 miles so far with them on and due to the shape you dont have any drag. You wont feel a difference at all. My set, (white) took a rock hit on the highway and it didn’t even scratch. That surprised me. I honestly expected getting a season or two out of 100 dollar bags but now I wouldnt be surprised to see them last permanently. I ordered gloss black for my wifes matte black bike, sanded then lightly and hit them with a few coats of matte clear. The look factory on both bikes. Shipping was about 4 days so no complaints there. Packaging was excellent as well. Thick box, each bag was wrapped in foam wrap in a bubble wrap bag so not a single blemish. The fold down door style is really what sold me. You can still use a trunk or passenger seat and open them.
