Johnson/Evinrude/OMC New OEM 1.8 gal Remote Oil Tank Reservoir Kit 5008617,177284

I have an older 1990 Evinrude 115 VRO. The oil tank was leaking and needed replaced. I wasnt sure if the new tank would work seeing it had a third fitting. I found out in the instructions that I actually read, that the extra fitting was for direct injection outboards, and for older models leave it capped. I had to cut and splice the wires for the warning buzzer. I tested the buzzer on an empty tank and the alarm sounded. I filled the tank, primed the oil line, and fired the engine up. Every thing worked as it should. Thanks to anybody that needs it. Life these days is hard enough and I appreciated everyone who stays on the job providing goods and services that keep things going.
