These were super easy to install. Remove two screws, remove the old armrest, install the new one and install the two screws. As soon as I installed these, I noticed that there is a curve downward near the front of the armrest. I don’t think are more comfortable for this but they aren’t uncomfortable because of it. I guess if I had my preference, I would want the same shape as the old armrests, maybe because I used them for 20 years before they wore out.These armrests seem slightly softer which might actually make them more comfortable. (it is personal preference) I do know that these make a slight noise when they hit my desk and the originals armrests do not. That is my biggest complaint but most don’t have a desk shaped like mine.These seem durable. I assume they will last a long time. I don’t know if they will last 20 years like my original arm rests did but they should last a good long time.
