These eyepiece eye guards work well. I didn’t get them for microscope eyepieces, but for older 1.25″ telescope eyepieces that I have. They are made of thick rubber that’s fairly pliable, so you can stretch it out a bit to fit them over older “smoothie” type Plossls and orthoscopics. The fit will depend on the particular eyepiece. I got them to fit over several older Celestron Ultima and Meade Plossls. They don’t look particularly elegant on these eyepieces, but they get the job done. You can remove them quite easily and put them back on as needed. Overall, I’m glad I got these. They’re a nice addition to the eyepiece case.
