Cuisinart 2 Quart Deep Fryer, Stainless Steel

This is a great appliance that saves my other cookware and makes deep frying a lot safer and less messy for my kitchen. I added the fryer to a space opposite my sink counter to keep it in a dry space for while it’s hot and cooling down. I’ve used it a few time and learned deep frying with it. I had trouble with battered veggies, so I learned to first lower the basket and then lower individual pieces using tongs. Battered food shouldn’t be lowered inside the basket because they stick instantly when lowered into the fryer. The basket is good for lifting the food before it burns. After 3-4 uses I got a good idea on how to balance reused with fresh vegetable oil each time I use the fryer. For small portions this fryer is great!
