Purchased this cooler because my CPU temperature was constantly hitting 100 degrees celsius under heavy load. The stock cooler would kick in and sound like a jet engine and the CPU would throttle itself. The new cooler keeps the CPU at a steady 60 to 65 degrees celsius under constant load. At most I’ve seen the CPU temp spike to 70 degrees. No more thermal throttling and the fan is way quieter.I was going to apply some thermal paste that I had purchased along with this, but there is some that has already been factory applied. I decided to go with the factory applied paste and it is working great.
