added to my sponge and charcoal in the filter box its keeping things cleaner with no big bio blooms, before this tank would cloud, also using in saltwater hospital tank without charcoal just running meds and bio and filter floss and still no clouding, great product if you need keep beneficial bacteria on a new set up like a hospital tank that you have to set up quick, and sometimes cant seed from main tank because of water bacteria or illness from other fish.
