I’ve been using SEM products/paint for years now. I’m a big fan of the color coat line of paints.I used this for a 1977 GMC square body truck with buckskin interior. I found a forum post a while back saying this was a match for buckskin interior…. Well, it’s not. It’s much darker than I expected. However, I like it better than the factory tan. When spraying this, it looks like a semi gloss, but does dry to a matte color on plastics. Some of their paint seems to look different depending on what it’s sprayed on, this stuff doesn’t. It’s consistent no matter the medium. Mine seems to have a weird quirk though. After shaking the can up good, it’ll spray clear for the first little bit, even if you come to use it 20min later, it’ll spray clear for the first spurts. Once the clear is gone, the color sprays nice an even. The can must be kept upright when spraying, even tilting it on its side will stop the paint from coming out.If you have black interior, their “Landau black” is a 100% dead match to GM black interiors! Just don’t use it on metal, it tends to come out more grey on metal for some reason. But I bet I have 5 cans of the black and 2 cans of this “saddle tan”. These cans are expensive, but worth it.
